Watch out for scam attempts targeting clients of law firms

Homem segurando uma mascara indicando tentativa de golpe

Dear Clients, Firstly, we would like to reiterate our continued commitment to providing the best legal services.

It is with great responsibility that we address you to warn about a delicate situation that has been reported in some cases in our sector.

We have recently become aware of an attempted scam targeting law firm clients, and wish to inform you that your procedural and personal information is fully preserved.

This scam has been carried out through phone calls, fraudulent emails and WhatsApp, in which malicious people pose as legal representatives of law firms, seeking to obtain information or make financial requests.

The information used in the attempted scam is public. A simple consultation - via the internet - of the courts' websites is enough to obtain it.

In addition, the cell phone numbers used by the scammers are NOT associated with our partners or team members. Your Case Progress Update is always sent through our official channels (monthly report).

We want to make it clear that our office does not make this type of contact to request payments or clarifications by WhatsApp.

To ensure your safety, we ask that if you receive any suspicious calls, messages or emails on behalf of our office, please contact us immediately through the communication channels we already use.
